REGISTISTRATION FOR THE 2022-23 SCHOOL YEAR

REGISTRATION FOR 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR

NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION K-GRADE 6

If your child is new to Edmonton Public Schools, you can register for school online.  Visit the Division website to learn how to reigster for school. New student registration begins on February 1, 2022.  Due to COVID-19, all families are asked to register online as it helps support our health and safety measures.

  • fill out the digital student registration form, which is available on the Division website starting Feb. 1, 2022.
  • upload supporting documents that prove your child’s legal name and birth date, home address and citizenship.
  • sign and submit the completed student registration form.

Examples of accepted documentation:

Legal proof of student's name

  • Canadian provincial birth certificate
  • Canadian citizenship document
  • passport
  • student visa

Note:  In some cases, immigration documents (e.g. landed immigrant documentation or permanent residence card) may also be required.  Visit Citizenship and Immigration Canada for more information.

Confirmation of address

  • driver's license
  • utility bill
  • home insurance
  • property tax bill

Note: In some cases, you may be asked to provide more than one of the above.

McLeod School is full in planned classes in Kindergarten to Grade 6 in the Regular Program. A Kindergarten student who is a resident and lives in the school's attendance area may still register. We will now only accept resident students for Grades 1 to 6 who newly move into the school’s attendance area for the regular program. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.

New in 2022–23: Online learning available at Argyll Centre

Families of Grade 1–12 students who would like their child to learn online in 2022–23 can register or pre-enrol at Argyll Centre. Online learning will not be available at other Division schools. Families who choose Argyll Centre will not be connected to their current or designated school and may not be guaranteed a space there the following year.

PRE-ENROLLMENT IN SCHOOLZONE

Help us prepare for the 2022-23 school year for current all students currently enrolled with EPSB.

Sign in to your parent SchoolZone account between March 08 and April 14 to select your child's preferred school for next year.

Whether your child is staying at the same school or changing schools, all students need to pre-enrol.  Knowing how many students to expect helps schools prepare to welcome them in September.

If you need help, contact our school office at 780-478-2927 or read the pre-enrolment handout.

Have you moved

Update your child’s current address with the school office before pre-enrolling in SchoolZone.

New to the Division?

Instead of using SchoolZone, students who are new to Edmonton Public Schools need to submit a completed Student Registration form. Find the form and list of supporting documents you need to provide listed above.
