Welcome

McLeod School is a Kindergarten to Grade 6 School serving students who reside in the neighbourhoods of McLeod and Miller in northeast Edmonton.

Our school office hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm (September through June)

Welcome to McLeod School!

I am honored to introduce myself as the principal of McLeod school for the 2025-2026 school year.   My name is Janette Pethick, and it is a privilege to serve the McLeod school community, alongside an amazing team of educators.

I look forward to working in partnership with all staff, students, families and community stakeholders as we uphold Edmonton Public Schools core values; equity, integrity, collaboration and accountability with a focus on our;

We are grateful to have the support of our McLeod School Council to provide enriching learning opportunities and enhance resources for our school.   We also welcome many community members who volunteer to read and support various events and activities.   Please consider volunteering or attending a school council meeting.  We appreciate your support in whatever way you may be able to contribute.   

As a school, we use SchoolZone as our primary mode of communication and we encourage our parents to check SchoolZone daily to receive timely information.

Please know that I am available to support your child(ren) through their learning journey and welcome parents and guardians to reach out as needed. I look forward to getting to know the amazing people in this school community.
